India will elect its 13th President Jun 14th 2012, 14:20 http://ibnlive.in.com/news/president...265883-37.html. There are six candidates in race at present including former President APJ Abdul Kalam and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The other four are Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Defense Minister AK Antony, present Vice-President Hamid Ansari, and former Speaker of the lower house of the Parliament Somnath Chatterjee (that makes 2 brahmins, 2 muslims, 1 sikh, and 1 christian). :)
