Americans and their ignorant opinions Mar 10th 2013, 02:17 On sites everywhere ignorant Americans shout their opinions ,as if they were experts, based on received prejudices and a scant reading of a wikipedia article. Whilst ignorance is widespread there does seem to be a marked tendency for Americans to assert their ill founded beleifs with increasing vigour. What is it about the American culture that engenders people with so little knowledge of another country to argue with the people of that country based on so little knowledge?
