Those Honest Politicians Mar 18th 2013, 12:56 So a couple of Italian Marines were under arrest in India because they shot and killed two unarmed Indian fishermen in International waters, claiming to have mistaken them for pirates. The Italian Ambassador convinced the Indian government to allow the two marines out on bail to return home to vote. The Ambassador personally guaranteed they would return for trial. They did not, and now the Ambassador is trying to weasel out of his "guarantee" because he has diplomatic immunity.
