Kayla Marie Golden, 28, had taken her three-day-old son Keegan for a check-up when she had an argument with a woman parked next to her. Lt Dan Norris, of the Montgomery County sheriff's department, said witnesses claimed the woman shot Ms Golden and number of times before taking her child. The dying mother tried to grab her child, shouting "my baby, my baby", before he was driven away in a Lexus car, according to reports. Police have suggested Ms Golden was shot up to seven times. She was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Woodlands where she died. Witness Joshua Jesson said he was in the clinic with his girlfriend when he heard gunshots. He said he saw the Lexus next to the victim's truck, then later looked back and saw the car was gone and a woman was lying there. "I thought she just passed out. Then somebody ran in here and said: 'Somebody got shot'," he said. According to Texas officials, Keegan has been found safe and well.
