Western wars with the rest of the world Apr 19th 2012, 10:59 <This OP was moved from an old thread -- DMB> No, we are not at war with Islam or muslims… we (the 'West') are at war with the whole world and have been since at least the 19th century when the countries of western Europe and north America began demanding access to other country's resources. So-called wars against Islam or Communism are really, as a matter of fact, merely imperialist wars over access to resources, labour and markets. What we're really fighting is what we've always been #ighting: Third World nationalism and independence.
